Ayodhya (राम जन्मभूमि) Set to Turn Into A Traveler Goal

The city of Ayodhya is an important pilgrim place for Hindus in India and as such, is the birthplace of Rama and setting of the epic Ramayana Nine years after an Allahabad High Court ruling in the case, the apex court on Saturday ruled that the Hindus would get the entire disputed 2.77 acres in Ayodhya. Muslims will get alternate land either in the surplus 67 acres acquired in and around the disputed structure by the central government or any other prominent place, the court ruled and trust would be set up by the central government in three months to monitor the construction of the Ram temple. Experts say that the tourism sector in the city is expected to get a leg-up after the SC verdict. It’s believed that initial investments would come from the tourism sector, and once the temple is constructed, there will be plenty of business activity which would further boost tourism. While there’s some bit of Hindu tourism in Ayodhya, Varanasi and Prayagraj (especially during the Kumbh Mela), central and eastern Uttar Pradesh is largely dependent on a Buddhist pilgrimage. But that’s set to change after the temple is built.
