Assam Tourism Started “Guwahati Heritage Walk” To Promote Its Culture, Tradition & Heritage

Assam Tourism Development Corporation (ATDC) has started “Guwahati Heritage Walk” to Promote Guwahati Culture; history; Tradition & Heritage. In the presence of the tour operators’ association members, the chairman of ATDC Jayanta Malla Baruah launched the program. The tour had started from the nearest North Brook Gate of Sukreswar Temple, then Cotton College, Latasil, Jurpukhuri, Ujanbazar, Chatrakar Dewalaya and ended up at Raj Bhawan. The Assam Tourism divisions were requested to continue this attempt to extend the field of Assam Tourism. The aim of this tour is to showcase the heritage sites in Guwahati to domestic and foreign visitors early in the morning.
