Rajasthan the “land of Maharajas”, which is culturally rich and has artistic and cultural traditions that reflect the ancient Indian way of life. Rajasthan is known for its traditional, colourful art. The block prints, tie and dye prints, Bagaru prints, Sanganer prints, and Zari embroidery are major export products from Rajasthan. Handicraft items like wooden furniture and crafts, carpets, and blue pottery are commonly found here.

A comprehensive tour designed keeping in mind the diversity of cultures prevent in various parts of Rajasthan. “Rajasthan Darshan” brings the ethnic blending of Marwar and Mewar region Of Rajasthan. ITINERARY

DAY 1

Arrival Delhi

On your arrival at the Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our team member who will transfer you to a pre-booked hotel. Check -in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight in hotel.

DAY 2

Old Delhi –New Delhi ( Heritage tour )

You’ll proceed for a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, including Red Fort (World Heritage Site)The Red Fort is a historic fort in the city of Delhi in India. Raj Ghat is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.  Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosque and Chandni Chowk is a busy shopping area with markets full of spices, dried fruit, silver jewellery and colourful saris. Overnight stay at hotel.  In afternoon you will visit Qutub Minar (UNESCO World Heritage Site) the Minar is surrounded by several historically significant monuments of Qutb complex.  You will then move forward to Humayun’s tomb, yet another UNESCO world heritage site. Your next stop is India Gate, built-in memory of the Unknown Soldiers of World War I. You will be driven past the Parliament House, President’s House and other Government Secretarial Buildings. DAY 3

Delhi -Agra

After breakfast, proceed to Agra enroute visit Sikandra, burial place of Akbar the Great. On arrival, check in at Hotel.  You’ll proceed for Agra tour the former capital of Hindustan during Mughal Era is a city. Agra is a major tourist destination of India and a part of the Golden Triangle tour circuit along with Delhi and Jaipur. In the visit to Agra, you will be taken to Taj Mahal, one of the wonders of the world. This beautiful building is elegantly built with white marble by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between the years 1631 to 1648 and it was built in the memory of his favourite beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. Visit more places of interest or shopping. Agra is famous for inlaid marble work and handicrafts made of marble. Overnight stay at the hotel, Agra.

DAY 4

Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur

You will be transferred from Agra to Jaipur visiting Fatehpur Sikri on the way. Fatehpur Sikri built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century holds exceptional testimony to Mughal civilization and is one of well-known UNESCO World heritage site of India. You will visit the Jama Masjid, followed by the Tomb of Salim Chishti, the five storied Panch Mahal and Buland Darwaza a graceful monument and stupendous piece of beautiful architectures. It is central portico with a total of three arched entrances and is locally known as Horseshoe gate. You will visit the other graceful buildings of this place such as Ibadat Khana, Mariam-uz-Zamani’s palace, Naubat Khana and Birbal’s house.

After the visit of Fatehpur Sikri, you will be driven to Jaipur. Jaipur, also known as the pink city is the capital of Rajasthan. Many captivating palaces are present here having breath-taking design and architecture. In the 18th century Prince of Wales had visited Jaipur and the entire city was painted in pink colour and due to these pink buildings the city is known as the pink city. Origin of Jaipur lies 260 years back. It was built by Maharaja Jai Singh and Jaipur got its name from this king. The rest of the day could be spent visiting the Jaipur bazaars or walking down the crowded colourful streets. The transport is at your disposal with-in the city limits. Overnight is in Jaipur.

DAY 5

Jaipur 

The morning journey starts from Amer fort also known as Amer Palace, the earlier capital of Jaipur. This magnificent fort was constructed in red sand-stone and marble by Raja Man Singh and is divided into four sections each with a courtyard. The main entrance gate is Surajpol having a fascinating architecture. Near the Ganesh Gate, there is a temple dedicated to the Goddess Sila Devi. The Diwan-e-Aam – Hall of public audience, Diwan-e-Khas – hall of private audience, Sheesh Mahal – palace of mirrors and Sukh Niwas are quite beautiful. At the Sukh Niwas, a pleasant climate is created by winds that blow over a water cascade. You could ascend the fort by walking up the steps or on an elephant’s back or in jeeps.

In Jaipur you will be taken to Maharaja City Palace, a royal palace with seven storey as well as Jantar Mantar, the observatory. This wonderful observatory attracts mathematicians as well as astronomers from the whole world. City palace is perfect blend of all three excellent styles (Mughal, Rajput and European). Drive past to Hawa Mahal which is popular all over the world for its magnificent architecture. You will be taken through Pink Rose Garden as well business centers of Jaipur. A tour of Jaipur is not complete without shopping. Jaipur is famous for clothes, carpets, precious and semi-precious stones and jewelry and various handicrafts made of wood, metals, etc. and also for silk paintings and miniatures. The transport is at your disposal with-in the city limits. Overnight is in Jaipur.

DAY 6

Jaipur- Bikaner ( BY Surface approx 5 hrs drive )

After breakfast continue to Bikaner. Enroute we visit Camel breeding farm. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Later proceed to Junagarh Fort, Prachina Museum &Bhand Sagar Jain Temple. Overnight at Bikaner.

DAY 7

Bikaner- Jaisalmer ( BY Surface approx 5 hrs drive )

After breakfast drive to Jaisalmer and on arrival check-in at hotel .In evening visit to Gadisar Lake &VyasChhatri.Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 8

Jaisalmer- Golden City

After breakfast we visit Jaisalmer Fort, Jain Temple &Patwa Haveli. By the evening we go for a unique experience of the Desert alike Arabian night by making overnight stay over sand dunes with tented accommodation with cultural program and also enjoy photogenic sunset on camel back. Stay at hotel overnight

DAY 9

Jaisalmer -Jodhpur ( BY Surface approx 5 hrs drive )

After breakfast drive to Jodhpur by surface and on arrival transfer to hotel. You will be taken to Meherangarh fort, one of the largest forts in not only Rajasthan but in India as well, situated on a low sandstone hill, at an altitude of 120 meters. The fort with menacing thick walls contains many palaces with expansive courtyards and intricate carvings. Moti Mahal – the Pearl Palace, is one of the beautiful palaces situated in the fort and was built by Raja Sur Singh. Later you will be taken to Phool Mahal – the Palace of Flowers, built by Maharaja Abhaya Singh, and believed to be an exclusive and private chamber of pleasure.

You will visit Jaswant Thada, built in 1889 by Sardar Singh in remembrance of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The entire structure is constructed out of thin and polished sheets of Marble which makes it ever so beautiful when sunlight falls over it. Your visit continues to Umaid Public Gardens which houses the Government Museum and the Umaid Bhawan Museum, with a vast collection of artifacts displaying rich history of region. Museum as well as the Umaid palace was designed by Henry Vaughan Lanchester. The transport is at your disposal with-in the city limits. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 10

Jodhpur- Udaipur ( BY Surface approx 5 hrs drive )

After breakfast proceed to Udaipur. Check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 11

Udaipur City Tour

After breakfast at hotel, proceed with sightseeing tour of Udaipur, a splash of color in Rajasthan that is brighter when tinged with the tones of local lore and legends. Visit the City Palace, built in 1725, which hours the Dilkhush Mahal, Sheesh Mahal – studded with glittering Belgium Mirrors, Moti Mahal and the Palace of Lord Krishna all of which are ornately decorated. Later visit the Jagdish Temple. This temple built in 1651 is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the preserver in gardens of the maids-of-honor, with beautiful lawns, gardens and fountains. Later drive around the Fateh Sagar Lake.

Also visit Crystal Gallery, Housed in the Fateh Prakash Palace is the world-famous Crystal Gallery; it’s spread across the upper-gallery of the glittering The Durbar Hall. Crystal Gallery has been hailed as probably the single largest private collection of crystal anywhere in the world. The collection includes a bewildering number of objects d’art, dinner sets, perfume bottles, decanters, glasses, washing bowls and even furniture. The Crystal Gallery also houses the only crystal bed in the world!

Afternoon enjoy a leisurely boat ride on Lake Pichola. Overnight is at the hotel.

DAY 12

Leave Udaipur ( BY Flight )

After explore the heritage legacy of Delhi Agra Fatehpur Sikri Jaipur Bikaner JaisalmerJodhpur and Udaipur. Transfer to the airport for your onward destination.
